"It has been said that time heals all wounds, I do not agree. The wounds remain. In time, the mind, protecting its sanity, covers them with scar tissue, and the pain lessens, but its never gone."
-Rose Kennedy

Old pains can reemerge at any time, even when it's least expected or when you think you're over it. This doesn't mean we're weak in any way; it means we're human. They teach us lessons we could never learn otherwise, and because of that, no matter how painful, we learn who we are and what the meaning of our life is.
