i don't want to be anything other than what i've been trying to be lately.

Yes, losing your heart`s desire is tragic. But gaining your heart's desire? That`s all you can hope for. This year I wished for love... to immerse myself in someone else and to wake a heart long afraid to feel. My wish was granted. And if having that is tragic, then give me that tragedy. Because I wouldn`t give it back for the world.

'Cause you know what? Tragedies happen. What are you gonna do, give up? Quit? No, I realize now that when your heart breaks, you got to fight like hell to make sure your still alive. Because you are. And that pain you feel? That's life. The confusion and fear? That's there to remind you, that somewhere out there is something better, and that something is worth fighting for.

Because sometimes you have to step outside of the person you've been and remember the person you were meant to be. The person you wanted to be. The person you are.

Happiness comes in many forms -- in the company of good friends, in the feeling you get when you make someone else's dream come true, or in the promise of hope renewed. It's okay to let yourself be happy because you never know how fleeting that happiness might be.

Most people are stronger than they know. They just forget to believe in it sometimes.

The important thing is not to be bitter over life's disappointments. Learn to let go of the past, and recognize that every day won't be sunny. And when you find yourself lost in the darkness of despair, remember, it's only in the black of night that you see the stars, and those stars lead you back home.

Have you ever wondered what marks our time here? If one life can really make an impact on the world? Or if the choices we make matter? I believe they do. And I believe that one man can change many lives... for better or worse!

my life be like ooooh ahhhhh.

Last night, a couple of my friends and I went to a local store and met Dave from The Buried Life. He is so amazing and inspirational. There weren't that many people there, so everyone who was there got to talk to him, take a picture with him, get his autograph, etc. My friends and I told him about our classmate and friend, Patrick, who had a brain anuerysm back in October and is still recuperating in the hospital. It is going to be a long road to recovery, but his story of staying strong inspires us all. Also, I told him how before I die, I want to isnpire people and help those going through a hard time. I told him how when my dad was sick, I could never find something to relate to or inspire me, so I decided to make this blog to help those who are in the situation I was in. When we all talked to him, he seemed genuinely interested and I could tell that he cared about what we were saying. It made us all so happy. I know he's busy so I don't know if he actually will, but he said he'd check out my blog which is so nice and awesome of him! The video below is Dave sending his best wishes to our friend, Patrick.

i've got some issues that nobody can see.

WATCH THIS TRAILER.

It's for the new MTV show, World of Jenks. Everyone should check it out. It really gives you another perspective of the world and of the people in it. It also makes you really appreciate the life you do have and it makes you realize what you take for granted. Basically, Andrew Jenks follows around various people for a week to see what their lives are really like. He's followed around anyone from a rapper to a homeless person to an autistic guy. It's definitely one of my new favorite shows.
